Mission Statement

The Nacogdoches County Exposition and Civic Center contributes to the quality of life in the County of Nacogdoches and surrounding East Texas area. This is done through a first class five day fair, PRCA Rodeo, year round facilities, and various community and youth oriented programs and events. The Nacogdoches County Exposition and Civic Center is committed to its mission of supporting Youth, Agriculture and the Community.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to maximize revenue and economic impact to the County of Nacogdoches through meetings, conventions, special events, and tourism by successfully marketing the destination and providing quality facilities and first-class service, and by providing professionally managed facilities that are available for cultural, civic, and special events to enrich Nacogdoches.

Nacogdoches County Civic Center

This new facility features two large event rooms – 15,000 sq. ft. room downstairs, that seats 600-1000 and a 4,200 sq. ft. room upstairs that seats 200-300 people. Additional small meeting rooms are also available. Some requirements may apply when book the event rooms.  The facility is perfect for large tradeshows, concerts, corporate meetings, banquets, school activities, and professional conventions.


Nacogdoches County Exposition Center

The Nacogdoches County Expo Center, located in beautiful East Texas, boasts as being the most versatile multi-purpose facility in the East Texas area. The 78,000 square foot covered arena is full equipped for rodeos, livestock sales, concerts, circuses, and a vast array of other special events and has a large elevated announcers booth.

The arena is the perfect place to host a large fair or show due to the availability of booth set-ups. There is a full time office and maintenance staff on site and available to ensure that each and every show runs smoothly. The multi-million dollar complex has three covered barns that can accommodate over 200 horse/animal stalls and are all equipped with a public address system and portable bleachers. The center also offers 60,000 sq. ft. of lighted outdoor corral space for livestock holding convenience. The 4,200 sq. ft. skybox, located on the second floor, is also available to rent during arena activities. Our office is equipped with phone lines, copier, Wi-Fi internet and fax. Moreover, the Expo offers three concession area inside the main arena, one of which has an adjacent dining area.

For the travelers, the center has 32 recreational vehicle hook ups available and shower facilities in four of the restrooms on site. The center can accommodate for your animals traveling with you on a day to day basis with a large supply of stored shavings and covered stalls. The center is located on the west side of the oldest town in Texas and minutes away from numerous lakes, including Lake Nacogdoches and the famous Sam Rayburn Lake. Venturing into historic downtown, you will find yourself in the midst of specialty shops, antique stores, and the newly renovated town square. There are many hotels and motels, along with a wide variety of restaurants serving food ranging from traditional Mexican, to delicious East Texas style bar-b-que, within a five mile radius for the Expo.
North of the arena one will find a large midway area that may be utilized for carnivals, exhibit booths, or fund raising events. The Pineywoods Fair, Nacogdoches Championship Rodeo and Steer Show, Oldest Town in Texas Rally, Shrine Circus, Region V Rodeo and Pineywoods Youth Rodeos are just a few of the events held at the Expo Center annually. These events along with many others bring an estimated total of 100,000 people through our gates per year.

Facility Information

200 stalls located directly beside arena building.

2 wash racks handling 7-10 head of livestock at a time. 2 wash racks handling 4 head of livestock.

Covered arena located in the main building is 280' x 110'. There are complete livestock and rodeo facilities available. Warm up facilities avialable.

SEATING Grandstand seats 4300.

SOUND SYSTEM We have an interconnected sound system that runs throughout the arena, all 3 barns and exhibit rooms. In addition we have one portable system and access to more if they are needed. The sound system may be run through the announcers booth. There is also a wireless mic system available.

PARKING Paved parking for 200. Additional parking for over 1,500 cars. Spaces are available near the barn. Additional parking is available through near by landowners.

RV & CAMPER CONNECTION There are 32 electrical hook-ups available on our site during events. A dump facility is on the grounds as well. For additional RV hook ups SEE BELOW.

FOOD AND DRINK There are three permanent concessions in the Arena and a concession in the Civic Center downstairs exhibit hall. The concessions are operated by Nacogdoches County Expo.
